Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Early on, her father began to take an interest in theater. While a student in Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. After he enlisted in the Air Force and was spotted alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in 1957. Walter along with his wife were discharged from the Air Force in 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter at Tulane University. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show named Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for six years. They also had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
